Melodie MC is the stage name of the Swedish musician and rapper Kent Lövgren (born July 26, 1970 ).

life and career

Lövgren produced his first pieces with his classmate Erik Svensson (Stattik) while he was still at school. His debut single Take Me Away was released in 1992, the debut album Northland Wonderland followed in the coming year.

Melodie MC's biggest hit was the 1993 single Dum Da Dum . It became an international success and reached the top 5 in the Netherlands and Australia, among others.
