The Melunghi Kang is a mountain in the Himalayas on the border between Bhutan and the People's Republic of China .
The mountain is considered to be one of the highest unclimbed peaks on earth.
There are different indications of its altitude: 6902 m and 7000 m . A ridge leads to the west to the 7570 m high Gangkhar Puensum .
