Menasco Buccaneer was a series of air-cooled six-cylinder in-line engines built by the American manufacturer Menasco Motors Company during the 1930s and 1940s for use in sport and small aircraft .

In addition to the Buccaneer series with six cylinders , Menasco also built the engines as four-cylinder versions under the name Pirate . The engines were built both with and without a supercharger . The charged models had the suffix S in their designation and were, despite only slightly larger dimensions, much more powerful at greater altitudes.
