People, nature and culture
Mensch, Natur und Kultur ( MNK , MeNuK for short ) was a subject association introduced in the 2004/2005 school year in elementary schools in the state of Baden-Württemberg . It essentially replaced the previous subject of home and general education (HUS) .
The new subject group of people, nature and culture brought together the previous subjects such as general science , music , art and textiles. The newly formed subject association thus encompassed a broad spectrum of different approaches.
The scientific knowledge and skills from the subject MNK were further developed at the grammar school in the subject natural phenomena .
With the 2016 education plan, people, nature and culture were abolished again.
