Images of man
The show Menschenbilder - The show from the happy life is a talk show on Austria 1 (Ö1). The series gives an insight into people's lives. The people can be heard in the interview and can express music requests.
The Sunday afternoon broadcast lasts around 45 minutes. Usually with just one interviewee, very rarely several, sometimes programs are posthumously designed "in memoriam".
Maria Schaumayer has been interviewed at least twice over the years.
Listeners are asked to name the editors.
The show was founded in 1984 by Heinz Janisch , and Sandra Kreisler is still the unifying voice today . The best known editor is Hubert Gaisbauer .
The theme tune of the program is the piece From foreign countries and people from the piano cycle Kinderszenen (1837/38) by Robert Schumann .
