Incarnation
Incarnation means:
- the emergence of the biological species Homo sapiens from fossil ancestors, see human history
- the development of the physical and mental characteristics of humans in the course of the tribal history, see hominization
- human development during pregnancy, see ontogenesis and embryogenesis (human) and fetogenesis
- in Christianity the incarnation of God
as well as in the broadest sense
- the admission into the circle of fully qualified class or age members of a group, see initiation
- in Buddhism and Hinduism the rebirth of man, see reincarnation
