The Mente ( Portuguese Rio Mente , Spanish Río Mente ) is a river in northern Portugal . It has its source in Spain and, after crossing the border, first flows through the Bragança district in Portugal. After a few kilometers in the Bragança district, the border between the Bragança and Vila Real districts then follows the course of the Mente up to its confluence with the Rabaçal .
