history

The band was formed in 2004 by four school friends. The original line-up released the self-produced EP The Grail of Wisdom and the 2006 debut album Ascension Aborted on Matthew "Chalky" Chalks (ex- Psycroptic ) label Southern Extremeties Productions . Among other things, the band went on tour through the west coast of Australia in early 2005 and played concerts with Disgorge before the release of their debut album . In 2009, Matthew Chalk joined the cast as the new singer. In 2010 two new demo recordings were made and made available on Facebook and Myspace, among others . These were the first recordings with Chalk as the new singer. After the group had written more new songs in 2012, the recording of the next album began in 2013. In addition to Chalk, the cast consisted of bassist James "Blower" Excell, guitarist and singer Ben Lawless and drummer Sam "Creamer" Dowson. This was the first album for Excell, a longtime friend of the band who had replaced original bassist Jules Dowson. In October of the same year, the album Sounds of the End was released on Willowtip Records . In 2016 the EP In Reverence of Forever followed.
