Mercedes Barranco

Mercedes Barranco (* in Barcelona ; † July 5, 2008 in Madrid ) was a Spanish actress .

Life

Barranco appeared on stage at the age of about 16 and initially worked exclusively for the theater, often under the direction of José Tamayo . Her film debut came in 1953 with a role in Fantasía española . From the following decade Barranco also worked for television, so in the series Primera fila from 1963 to 1965 or in the loose series Novela , for which she was committed sixteen times between 1963 and 1978. She also worked as a voice actress and in that capacity was the voice of Barbara Bel Geddes in Dallas .

Barranco was married to the actor José Calvo .
