The Mercuri International Group AB is an international company in the field of sales consulting and the sales training and -coachings. The company employs more than 300 people at 50 locations in over 40 countries.

Company history

The company was founded in Sweden in 1960 by communications and sales expert Heinz Goldmann and entrepreneur Curt Abrahamsson. Goldmann had already published the standard work "How to win customers" in 1952, which appeared in 20 languages and sold a total of 3 million copies. In 1997 Mercuri International was taken over by the Swedish investment group Bure Equity AB . At the beginning of 2011, the Malmö-based consultancy Celemi, which offers business simulations to increase learning efficiency, was integrated into the group. Focus of work

Mercuri International focuses on increasing the efficiency of sales work. The range of services extends from the development of sales strategies and tailor-made trainings ( blended learning ) to sustainable implementation support with KPI analyzes and coaching . Mercuri International carries out around 18,000 projects worldwide for around 15,000 customers from business and administration with more than 330,000 participants. In contrast to other training providers, Mercuri International primarily relies on permanent employees. Many of these employees are known for their specialist articles and specialist books (in connection with, for example, Christian Belz, Dieter Ahlert and Dirk Zupancic ) on sales topics, in Germany this applies in particular to Wolfgang F. Bußmann, Holger Dannenberg and Matthias Huckemann.

Cooperations

There are currently collaborations with Performance Methods, Inc. and Market Partner in the USA, with EFKAM (European Foundation for Key Account Management eV) in Starnberg, with GMP (Gesellschaft für Management und Personalentwicklung mbH) in Emsdetten and the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland.

When analyzing the existing competencies within sales, Mercuri International uses, among other things, the DNLA potential analysis (Discovery of Natural Latent Abilities), which was developed by SMP (Software für Management und Personalentwicklung mbH) in cooperation with the Max Planck Institute in Munich , as well as the test developed by John G. Geier for creating a behavioral profile ( DISG ).

Mercuri International in Germany

Mercuri International has had two companies in Germany since 1974 and 1978 respectively. These merged in 2006 to form Mercuri International Deutschland GmbH, Meerbusch . A total of about 30 employees are employed here and more than 100 customers from various industries are looked after. Around 40 percent of sales are generated with international projects.
