Merete Riisager
Merete Riisager (born March 1, 1976 in Aarhus ) is a Danish politician and member of the Folketing for the Liberal Alliance . She was Minister of Education in the Lars Løkke Rasmussen III government .
Riisager graduated from the University of Copenhagen . Before joining the Liberal Alliance, she was a member of the Folketing as a member of Parliament for Det Radikal Venstre . Riisager was set up by her party in the constituency of Fyns Storkreds. Previously, she was spokesperson for the Liberal Alliance for children and education, as well as local and gender equality spokesperson. Until June 4, 2016, she was the party's spokeswoman for taxes.
