Florian Knochl
Florian Knöchl (born April 16, 1987 in Vienna ) is an Austrian football commentator and television presenter for the Austrian private broadcaster Puls 4 .
Life
Florian Knöchl grew up in Lower Austria in the Mödling area . After his school days, which he completed with the Matura in 2006, he completed his community service. He then studied journalism and communication sciences at the University of Vienna and completed several internships, including a. at ORF .
Knöchl currently lives and works in Vienna.
Journalistic activity
In 2010 he commented for Audio2 on behalf of ORF games of the soccer world championship in South Africa for the two-channel sound ( audio description for the blind and visually impaired).
In the years that followed, Knöchl commented on sporting events such as the Four Hills Tournament , ski races, international matches for the Austrian national soccer team and matches in the Austrian national soccer league for Audio2 on ORF.
He also works for the Austrian Football League and regularly comments live from the Austrian stadiums.
In August 2012, Knöchl switched to PULS 4 and could be heard as a commentator on the highlight broadcast of the UEFA Champions League .
Since January 2013 he has been an integral part of the PULS 4 sports editorial team and works as a commentator, article designer and editor .
Since 2016 Knöchl can also be heard as a live commentator for the UEFA Europa League on Puls 4.
From October to December 2017, Knöchl hosted the first season of Ninja Warrior Austria , which was broadcast on Puls 4, together with Mario Hochgerner and Dori Bauer .
Since September 2018, Knöchl can be seen alongside Phillip Hajszan as the main presenter of the UEFA Europa League programs on PULS 4 .
