Football commentator

A football commentator is a sports reporter who comments on football matches for radio or television. In 1929 the first soccer game was broadcast on the radio in Germany. The first TV broadcast took place in Germany in 1939.

Rudi Michel , Rolf Kramer , Werner Schneider , Bernhard Ernst , Herbert Zimmermann , Manfred Breuckmann , Werner Hansch , Sammy Drechsel , Heinz Florian Oertel , Ernst Huberty , Gerd Rubenbauer , Marcel Reif , Heribert Faßbender , Reinhold Beckmann , Rolf Töpperwien , Fritz von Thurn und Taxis , Jörg Dahlmann , Wolff-Christoph Fuss , Hansi Küpper , Kai Dittmann and Markus Höhner, Frank Buschmann and Johannes B. Kerner . In Switzerland, Bernard Thurnheer is considered the best-known football commentator. Kurt Jeschko, Hans Huber, Robert Seeger, Oliver Polzer and Thomas König were or are the most famous Austrian football commentators.
