Kai Dittmann

Kai Dittmann (born August 25, 1966 in Walsrode ) is a German football and tennis commentator.

Dittmann, who grew up in Langenhagen , studied at the University of Göttingen and then worked as a freelancer in Hanover for Norddeutscher Rundfunk (NDR), where he finally started as an editor. In Hamburg he worked in the NDR sports department and as a reporter for the Bundesliga conference on ARD radio before switching to pay TV ( Sky Deutschland / Premiere). There Dittmann reported from the soccer world championships in 2006 and 2010; He was also a commentator on the finals of the 2007 and 2010 UEFA Cup and the 2011, 2014 and 2015 Europa League. He currently reports from the Bundesliga , the Champions League and the UEFA Europa League . In 2008 and 2009 he commented on the Champions League finals on Champions TV for Sat.1 , which was produced by Premiere. In the summer of 2015 he first appeared on Sky as a tennis commentator from Wimbledon.

Kai Dittmann was nominated for the German Television Prize for his comments in 2008, 2010 and 2013 . In 2020 Dittmann was named "Commentator of the Year" within the framework of the "Drei90 Awards", which are presented annually by the Drei90 podcast .

Dittmann is married.
