Marco Hagemann

Marco Hagemann (born November 15, 1976 in Gütersloh ) is a German sports commentator .

Life

In his youth and in his early 20s, Hagemann played football for VfB Schloß Holte as an amateur footballer in the national league. He also played club tennis for the TC GW Schloß Holte in the district league.

He began his career in 2000 with German sports television , today Sport1 . Hagemann initially worked there as a news editor for the “Newscenter” format and later for “Bundesliga Aktuell”. He gained his first experience as a football commentator in the programs LaOla and Bundesliga Pur . From 2004 to 2014 he worked primarily for the pay TV broadcaster Sky Deutschland . Its field of application extended from the first and second Bundesliga , the foreign leagues ( Premier League and La Liga ) about DFB Cup Games and Europa League Killy Sánchez to Champions League games . Since 2015 he has also been commenting on the game together with Hansi Küpper in the soccer video game series Pro Evolution Soccer .

According to his own statement, a good commentator for Hagemann is that he does not take himself too seriously and that the football game is the focus. He also values emotions, language skills and objectivity.

Hagemann is a fan of Borussia Dortmund and a friend of English football, here he favors Liverpool FC . He lives in Munich and was an active member of the football and tennis club and board in his home town of Schloß Holte .

Marco Hagemann is the competition commentator for the VOX program "Ewige Helden".

On February 2, 2017, Hagemann won the German Television Award in the “Best Sports Show” category together with Markus Theil as co-presenter, the main presenter Matthias Stach and the executive producer Frederic Jouon .
