German Sports Journalist Award 2017

The seventh award of the German Sports Journalist Award took place on April 3, 2017 in the Grand Elysée Hotel in Hamburg . Prizes were divided into nine categories, and the award for life's work and a prize for the “most cited football expert” were given.

The German Sports Journalist Prize for Lifetime Achievement was awarded to Ludger Schulze ( Süddeutsche Zeitung ). Lothar Matthäus received an award as the “most cited football expert”.
