The Mericle Rock is a nunatak in the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It rises in the middle of the Campbell Glacier at a distance of around 15 km from its head end.
The United States Geological Survey mapped it based on its own measurements and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1960 to 1964. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1969 after David Lee Mericle (1929-2010), electrical engineer at McMurdo Station in Year 1967.
