Mesa Verde was a five-piece screamo - Emo - and hardcore - punk band from Cumbernauld in Scotland .
Band history
Mesa Vrede was founded in June 2004 in Cumbernauld. Just a few weeks later, the first appearance as the opening act for Yage took place in Glasgow . In 2005 the demo recording In This Silence We Will Slow Dance was released on CD-R and limited to 100 copies.
In 2006 the extended play Amor Fati was released . This was released as a coproduction with Art for Blind Records. After a tour of the UK and a failed tour with Black Channel , the debut album The Old Road followed . The band broke up in 2010.
style
The band combines the melodic component of the emocore with the aggressive and spontaneous outbursts of the screamo . In addition, they often use experimental elements that offer their music plenty of space and atmosphere.
