Measurement exercise

A measurement exercise is a special course at a university , which serves the professional handling of (mostly expensive or sensitive) measuring instruments and / or the gathering of relevant practical experience . It takes place alongside or after lectures or arithmetic exercises , and (less often) also as a supervised field service in the form of a field exercise or field excursion.

There are measuring exercises mainly in natural science and technical subjects.
