MessagePlus / Open is a communication platform for medium and large organizations for processing a high message throughput - especially in a high availability environment. Fax , fax over IP , e-mail , SMS and numerous options for integrating business applications are currently supported as communication channels . The solution was developed by Intercope GmbH, is distributed by both Intercope and IBM and is the successor product of FaxPlus / Open .

Application integration

MessagePlus / Open provides generic and application-specific integration options. The generic interfaces can be used by any application, but require some programming effort. These functions make it possible to classify documents and to extract digital data from unstructured content or semi-structured content , which can then be passed on to applications in structured formats such as XML.
