The Messeberg is a very striking, 112 m high ridge between Hoheneggelsen and Feldbergen .

It was created by halokinesis . In it, rocks of the Jura penetrate the loess cover of the Hildesheimer Börde . Bundesstraße 1 runs along the ridge of the Messeberg .
