Metamorphose is a specialist magazine for architects. The main topic is “Building in Existing Buildings” and is published four times a year.

history

The magazine was first published in January 2007. It was developed and designed by Christian Schönwetter and Jennifer Bühling, who also worked as editors-in-chief until December 2008. Since January 2009 Christian Schönwetter was the sole editor-in-chief. The layout of the magazine received the iF communication design award 2007 and was nominated for the design award of the Federal Republic of Germany in 2009. The magazine was published by Konradin Verlag in Leinfelden-Echterdingen. The editor was Katja Kohlhammer.

In 2013 it was published as a quarterly sub - issue db-metamorphose: Building in the existing stock in the db deutsche bauzeitung .

subjects

The magazine deals with the repair, modernization and conversion of buildings of all ages. Monument conservation issues are also taken into account.
