Metra (...)

Metra (…) ( Greek  Μητρα […] ) was a Greek coroplast who worked in Myrina in the 1st century AD .

Metra (...) is known for incomplete signatures on three types of clay statuettes . Two statuettes of Tyche are now in the Louvre in Paris , as well as a statuette of Dionysus with Eros and a panther. A second such Dionysus figure is in the Istanbul Archaeological Museum . The third type of statuette shows a woman in a robe and is privately owned.
