Mette Lange-Nielsen (born April 30, 1929 in Norway , † May 29, 1981 in Norway) was a Norwegian actress .

Life

She made her film debut as an actress in 1951 in the film Dei svarte hestane as Viv Førnes . Lange-Nielsen subsequently appeared in various roles in several Norwegian films and television series until her death in 1981.

Her son Lars Lillo-Stenbergs sang in 1997 in the song "Mor" ( German  mother ), a homage to his mother, which was later picked up and covered again by his band deLillos . She was Norway's first TV program spokesperson for the NRK .

Lange-Nielsen was married to the actor Per Lillo-Stenberg and was the mother of the Norwegian singer, guitarist and songwriter Lars Lillo-Stenberg. She was also the sister of the Norwegian lawyers and judge Trygve Lange-Nielsen . Her mother came from the Norwegian, widely ramified Stang family , who originally immigrated from Germany.
