Per Lillo-Stenberg
Per Lillo-Stenberg (born June 21, 1928 in Oslo , † March 27, 2014 in Levanger ) was a Norwegian actor .
Life
Lillo-Stenberg made his acting debut in 1950 at Den Nationale Scene in Bergen in Nordahl Grieg's play The Defeat . In the 1950s and 1960s he worked at Centralteatret , Folketeatret , Oslo Nye Teater and at the television theater (Fjernsynsteatret) and at Riksteatret . From 1967 to 1975 he appeared again at Den Nationale Scene and from 1975 he was employed at Oslo Nye Teater until his retirement.
He also worked as an actor in several Norwegian films and television series . Lillo-Stenberg made his film debut in the short film Aldri mer! and in 1958 he appeared in the thriller De dødes tjern as Bjørn Werner . In 1961 he played in the drama Passionate Encounter and appeared in two films by the Norwegian Olsen Gang, including in the role of Bang-Johansen . Lillo-Stenberg had his last appearance in the film in 2004 in a role in the comedy drama Salto, salmiakk og kaffe .
Per Lillo-Stenberg wrote as a songwriter some lyrics, such as, among others, "Smak av Honning", "S'il Vous Plait," "Rendezvous" and "Smilet til Cecilie" for the Norwegian band deLillos where his son Lars Lillo-Stenberg participates as a musician.
Lillo-Stenberg died at the age of 85 on March 27, 2014 after a brief illness in Levanger Hospital .
family
Per Lillo-Stenberg was the son of the painter Paul Lillo-Stenberg . He was married to the actress Mette Lange-Nielsen (1929–1981) and was the father of their son, Lars Lillo-Stenberg , who became known as a musician and singer in the Norwegian rock band deLillos .
