Meydan Ekbaz , Midan Ikbaz , Maydan Akpas or al-Midan Akbes ( Arabic ميدان أكبس, DMG Maidān Akbas ) is a border town (small town) and a train station on the north-western Syrian - Turkish border ( Baghdad Railway ). The Kurdish place, actually a pass between Kurd Dagh (Kurdenberg) and the Amanos Mountains , is of high historical value. Meydan Akpas belongs to the Rajo community , Afrin district , Aleppo governorate in Syria.
