Micha Keding

Micha Keding (born March 25, 1976 in Hanover ) is a German jazz and church musician .

Life

As a child, Keding received music training on the cello , electric bass and double bass . After graduating from high school, he studied music education in Bremen, majoring in jazz double bass. He then trained as a C church musician for popular music.

Keding has been teaching gospel music workshops since 1997 . Since 2011, he has been teaching the newly established B Church Musician course for popular music at the Hamburg University of Music . He has another teaching position at the University of the Arts Bremen for pop choir conducting. He is a member of the group Swingin 'Fireballs , with whom he has produced a total of six CDs and one DVD. In 2000, 2002, 2005 and 2007 he was the musical director of the North German Gospel Meeting with over 600 participants. In 2009 he was the winner of the Bremen Jazz Prize.
