Michael Amlacher

Michael Amlacher (born March 28, 1882 in Oberaich , Carinthia ; † January 12, 1964 in Feldbach ) was an Austrian politician of the Social Democratic Workers' Party (SDAP).

education and profession

After attending a three-class elementary school, Michael Amlacher learned the trade of a shoemaker. He then worked as a forest worker, miner and finally became a railway employee in 1906, when he was also retired.

  • 1918 - 1924: District Secretary of the Wolfsberg Social Democratic Party
  • 1921-1923 and 1927-1929: Member of the Carinthian Landtag
  • February 3, 1931 - February 17, 1934: Member of the National Council
