Michael Baldauf (born March 14, 1918 in Munich ; † May 12, 1997 in Neustadt am Rübenberge ) was a German politician ( CDU ).

Soon after graduating from high school, he began his service as an active officer. His last rank as captain was in the General Staff of the VIII Army Corps . During the Second World War he was wounded three times and was taken prisoner by the Soviets. In the spring of 1950 he returned from captivity and began studying economics.

He later studied civil engineering. In 1959, Baldauf began working as an independent management consultant for the construction industry. It was not until 1963 that he joined the CDU and became active in the CDU / CSU SME Association. From 1969 to the dissolution of the Neustadt am Rübenberge district in 1974, he was chairman of the CDU district association. From 1981 Baldauf was councilor and deputy mayor of the city of Neustadt a. Rbge. From 1972 to 1974 member of the district council of Neustadt a. Rbge.

In the 7th to 10th electoral period from April 20, 1971 to June 20, 1986, he became a member of the Lower Saxony State Parliament , of which he was secretary from June 22, 1982 to June 20, 1986.
