Michael Campbell (athlete)
Michael Campbell (born September 11, 1978 in Kingston ) is a former Jamaican sprinter who specialized in the 400-meter run .
In 2003 he was seventh in the individual competition at the Pan American Games in Santo Domingo and won gold in the 4-by-400-meter relay . At the World Athletics Championships in Paris / Saint-Denis , he was used in the run-up to the 4 x 400 meter relay and thus contributed to winning the silver medal for the Jamaican team.
In 2004 he was part of the Jamaican 4 x 400 meter relay, which was eliminated in the preliminary stages of the Olympic Games in Athens .
