Michael Kolkmann

Michael Kolkmann (born before 1993) is a German political scientist .

Life

Michael Kolkmann studied political science and history from 1993 to 1999 in Hanover and Bonn, as well as at the American University in Washington DC and in Potsdam. As a graduate political scientist, after a research stay at the German American Center for Visiting Scholars in Washington, DC, he worked for the European Academy of Bavaria from 2001 . In 2004 he received his doctorate at the Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg, where he is a lecturer at the chair of the political science faculty.

Kolkmann's main research areas are the “Political System of the Federal Republic of Germany and the USA”, “ Foreign Policy of the USA ” and “ Transatlantic Relations”.
