Michael Lantzenberger
Michael Lantzenberger (* 1552 in Scheibenberg ; † 1612 in Leipzig ) was a German printer. His printing press was located in the trade fair city of Leipzig. The books produced in his printing house include: a. several writings by Martin Luther , Matthäus Dresser's De vita et morte DPL medici Oratio Adami Vitae Medicorum from 1593 and the Sachsenspiegel from 1595. His nephew Gregor Ritzsch (1584–1643), who also became a printer and wrote several evangelical hymns, was one of his students .
