Michael Lebron

Michael William Lebron (born August 26, 1958 ), known by the stage name Lionel , is a television and radio presenter of American programs. He currently distributes podcasts, audio and video contributions on his online platform and works as a media analyst. He is regarded as the leading propagator of QAnon - conspiracy theories .

Life

Lebron graduated from Jesuit High School in Tampa , Florida in 1976 . He started his television career with the CourtTV court show in the later 1990s. Talkers Magazine ranked him among the “Heaviest Hundred” at number 54 in 2010 and at number 37 for the “Frontier Fifty” in 2013. He also worked as a bluegrass musician and stand-up comedian . He became known throughout the US for Air America's “The Lionel Show” named after him .

Political activities

Lebron stated in 2014 that he was strongly influenced by his Catholic upbringing. He praised the Jesuit schooling he had received. However, he called for a strict separation of state and religion. He resolutely opposed state interference with freedom of speech. Lebron was particularly known for his "Lionel Show" on Air America, a media network that was assigned to the liberal to left spectrum. More recently, however, he has leaned more and more towards the right-wing political spectrum and the conspiracy theories that are common there, which he disseminates via his website and his news channels. In 2017, Lebron spoke to RT America about QAnon and said: "As fighters for the truth, we sense victory!". The interview is available on RT America's YouTube channel.

Lebron won the 2013 New York Emmy Award in the Commentary / Editorial Writing category.
