Michael Lukas (born November 2, 1877 in Tröglersricht ; † July 2, 1955 in Weiden in the Upper Palatinate ) was a German politician (BVP).

Live and act

After attending primary school in Weiden and the local agricultural winter school, Lukas worked as an economist until at least 1920. At the local political level, he took on tasks as a local curator and a member of the community committee.

After serving in the military from 1898 to 1900, Lukas took part in the First World War from 1914 to 1918 , in which he was wounded and promoted to sergeant.

After the First World War, Lukas joined the Bavarian People's Party , for which he appeared publicly as a speaker and for which he sat from June 1920 to May 1924 as a member of the Reichstag for constituency 28 (Lower Bavaria-Upper Palatinate) . Lukas was also a member of the board of the Christian Farmers' Association in Upper Palatinate. In May 1933, Lukas was a member of the Bavarian State Parliament, which had already been harmonized by the National Socialists .

After the Second World War, Lukas took over the management of the food office in Weiden. Politically, he was now a member of the CSU .
