Tröglersricht is a district of the independent city of Weiden in the Upper Palatinate in the Bavarian administrative district of Upper Palatinate .
Geographical location
Tröglersricht is located on a rock spur three kilometers east of Weiden in the Upper Palatinate . The place is on State Road 2166 . The 633 m high Fischerberg rises 1 km east of Tröglersricht. The Almesbach flows 200 m north of Tröglersricht. The Almesbach flows 2 km further northwest into the Waldnaab .
Place name
The ending of the place name in -richt indicates that Tröglersricht (also: Trökleinsrewt, Tröglersrieth) is one of the clearing settlements that emerged from the 11th to the 14th centuries.
history
The Tröglersricht tower hill, which was built in the 11th century, joins a large number of such fortifications east of Neustadt an der Waldnaab . They testify to the development of the country, which developed progressively northwards during the time of the Counts of Sulzbach .
In 1396 Volland had the Redwiczer Tröglersricht as a fief. In 1407 the village of Tröglersricht belonged to the property of the city of Weiden. In an agreement from 1587 it is determined that the village of Tröglersricht belongs to the district court of Leuchtenberg and to the parish of Schirmitz . The lower jurisdiction held the office Parkstein at this time .
At the beginning of the 19th century, Tröglersricht belonged to the city of Weiden with 8 landholders. It was a village with 8 houses (6 farms) and 39 inhabitants. In 1808 Tröglersricht became a tax district with 74 inhabitants and 9 residential buildings . In 1837 the city of Weiden lost the lordly jurisdiction over Tröglersricht. In 1838 the Weiden district court was established in the Upper Palatinate . Tröglersricht came to the Weiden district court.
In 1861 Tröglersricht belonged to the municipality of Edeldorf with 67 inhabitants . In 1915 it was incorporated into the city of Weiden.

Tourism, sightseeing
On the western edge of Tröglersricht at house no. 4 is the Tröglersricht tower hill , a defunct medieval tower hill castle (Motte). The flat surface of the hill has a size of 25 by 25 meters. On the slope side there is still a wide remnant of a trench, on the mountain side this is filled and partially built over. The village chapel of Tröglersricht dates from the 19th century and is a listed building. In and around Tröglersricht there are also some listed road and stone crosses.
