history

The Ullersricht castle stable, which was built in the 11th century, is one of a large number of such fortifications east of Neustadt an der Waldnaab . They testify to the development of the country, which developed progressively northwards during the time of the Counts of Sulzbach . In the book of castle estates of Parkstein from the 16th century, this castle complex was noted as a castle stable with fenced gardens, ramparts and moats on which two barns still stand.

The Salbuch of 1366 recorded Ullersricht as belonging to Parkstein . In 1440 a sheep farm was mentioned in Ullersricht. In the 15th century Ullersricht belonged to the Neunkirchen court. In the tax book of 1588, 4 farmers and 2 residents (shepherd and Hutmann) in Ullersricht were recorded as belonging to Parkstein Castle . There were 3 farms, 1 farm, 14 horses, 26 cows, 26 young cattle, 17 pigs, 65 sheep. Then came the Thirty Years War , 1618-1648, and the following figures show its effects. In 1625 the tax book for Ullersricht counted 4 farmers, 3 farms, 1 resident, 2 horses, 6 oxen, 8 cows, 7 calves, 8 pigs, 15 own sheep of the hat man. In 1636 there were 4 farmers in Ullersricht, 3 farms, 1 devastated, dilapidated, desolate estate, 2 oxen, 2 cows. The burden of debt was greater than the farms were worth.

The official description of 1661 shows that there were 4 teams in Ullersricht at that time, 3 families were parish in Rothenstadt. The homage from 1714 named 4 subjects belonging to the Parkstein castle hat. The specification from 1732 mentioned 4 Burgguts subjects and 3 residents (2 shepherds, 1 day laborer) for Ullersricht. In the main table of 1792, 5 officials, including 1 shepherd, were listed.

Around 1800 Ullersricht was a Burghut village with 7 houses and 44 inhabitants. It belonged to the Weiden nursing office. Its rulers were sovereign Sulzbachian .

In 1817 the Moosbürg tax district was formed. It consisted of the hamlets of Moosbürg, Ermersricht and Ullersricht and the wasteland of Leinstadtmühle. At that time there was a glass loop in Ullersricht with 30 workers and a brickworks with 5 workers in the summer.

Moosbürg was a direct municipality first in the Neustadt an der Waldnaab regional court, then from 1838 in the Weiden regional court in Upper Palatinate . The municipality of Moosbürg consisted of Ermesricht, Leinstadtmühle, Moosbürg, Ullersricht and Ullersrichter Neubau. In 1913 Ullersricht was changed from the municipality of Moosbürg to the municipality of Rothenstadt.

In 1978 Ullersricht was incorporated into the urban district of Weiden as part of the Rothenstadt community.
