The Postal Ullersricht is an Outbound medieval motte (moth) on the southeastern outskirts of Ullersricht, a modern suburb of Weiden in the Upper Palatinate in Bavaria .

description

The remains of the moth system lie in the flat valley of the Waldnaab , about 700 meters from the current course of the river. It consisted of an oval tower hill, which was surrounded by two ring trenches with a wall in between.

The heavily flattened tower hill measures around 30 by 20 meters and rises barely noticeably from the inner ditch . This trench is seven meters wide and is surrounded by an intermediate wall that is also seven meters wide. The intermediate wall is followed by an outer trench that is still four meters wide. Both trenches are also heavily flattened today. About 40 meters east of the castle stables there is a 1.5 meter high Weiherdamm, which runs from north to south, but is probably not connected to the medieval castle.

Today the site is registered as a ground monument D-3-6338-0011 "Leveled medieval castle stables" by the Bavarian State Office for the Preservation of Monuments .
