Aurélio Freitas Ribeiro

Aurelio Freitas Ribeiro (born November 15, 1971 in Lore , Portuguese Timor ) is a politician from East Timor . He is a member of the FRETILIN party and a member of its central committee.

Ribeiro completed an economics degree. From 2012 he was a member of the East Timorese National Parliament and a member of the Commission for Economic Affairs and Development (Commission D).

In the parliamentary elections in East Timor in 2017 , Ribeiro missed re-entry into parliament at number 25 on the list, but then moved up for Estanislau da Silva on the second day of the session on September 6, 2017 , who renounced his seat. Here he became a member of the Commission for Infrastructure, Transport and Communication (Commission E) and on the Administrative Council of Parliament. In the parliamentary elections in 2018 , Ribeiro again missed the direct entry into parliament on list position 30.
