The Castle Rothenstadt , Roth townspeople Castle called, is a Hofmark - Castle on the west bank of the Waldnaab in Roth city (Church Street 27), a district of Weiden in Bavaria .

The castle emerged from a former pond complex belonging to the Lords of Rothenstadt, mentioned in the 12th century. The palace complex is a highly structured complex of buildings, expanded in the second half of the 19th century in the neo-Gothic style, with a walled palace park extending to the banks of the Waldnaab. The castle was the seat of the von Sazenhofen family from 1602 to around 1960 . Today the castle is privately owned.
