Michael Makiolla

Michael Makiolla (born January 15, 1956 in Unna ) is a German politician ( SPD ) and since 2004 district administrator in the Unna district .

biography

After graduating from high school in Unna and completing military service, he studied law and political science at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität in Bonn, graduating in 1984 with the second state examination in law.

He then entered the civil service and from 1986 was personal assistant to the Arnsberg regional presidents Richard Grünschläger and Raghilt Berve . In 1990 he moved to the Unna district, where he was initially a department head, then a district director and has been elected district administrator since 2004.

politics

Makiolla joined the SPD in 1977 and was involved in the peace movement. As a representative nominated by the SPD in North Rhine-Westphalia, he was a member of the 13th Federal Assembly in 2009.
