Michael Mautner Markhof

Michael Mautner Markhof (born December 12, 1950 in Vienna ) is an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ) and entrepreneur. From 1993 to 1998 he was a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament .

Life

After primary school, Mautner Markhof attended the Academic Gymnasium in Vienna and passed the Matura. He studied in the following law at the University of Vienna and received his doctorate in 1975 for Dr. jur. As a result, he worked in industry, accountants and tax consultants and was involved in local politics as a local councilor in Schwechat from 1985 . He was a city councilor from 1996 and served as a local council again between 2000 and 2010. He also represented the ÖVP between June 7, 1993 and April 16, 1998 in the Lower Austrian state parliament.

Professionally, Mautner Markhof was on the supervisory board of Brau AG , as well as a member of the board of St. Georg Verwaltungs- und Beteiligungs-KG. He was head of the legal office within the Mautner-Markhof group.

The father of three children was also a multiple tennis youth champion.
