Michael Muck (born April 18, 1984 in Bad Mergentheim ) is a former German racing cyclist . He is the son of the former German national fencer Oskar Muck .

Career

Michael Muck has been a member of the Hofbräu-Radler-Stuttgart Bundesliga team since 2003 , which has been called Team Aguti since the middle of the 2005 season. In 2006 he switched to the KED Bianchi-Rad Team Berlin with the sporting director Dieter Stein. Since 2003 he has been a member of the U23 national team under national coach Peter Weibel .

His greatest successes in 2005 are winning the new edition of the Stuttgart – Strasbourg long-distance journey , third place in the Tour of Bulgaria , in which he also won the junior competition, and second place in the U23 event of the Chrono des Herbiers . Because of these successes, he was nominated as a stagiaire for the UCI ProTeam Gerolsteiner , for which he competed on the Circuit Franco-Belge with convincing performances .
