Michael Nudelman

Michael Nudelman ( Hebrew מיכאל נודלמן, Born June 30, 1938 in Kiev , Ukrainian SSR ; † February 14, 2019 ) was an Israeli politician . From 1996 to 2009 he was a member of the Knesset .

Life

Nudelman, who came to Israel in 1991, was elected to the 14th Knesset in 1996 for Yisra'el ba-Aliyah . Together with Yuri Stern , he resigned from the party and formed the party Yisra'el ha-Mitchadeschet , which later became Yisra'el Beitenu . For Jisra'el Beitenu, Nudelman was elected to the 15th Knesset in 1999 and the 16th in 2003 . Shortly before the end of the 16th Knesset term, Nudelman resigned from the party and spent the remainder of the term as an independent . He justified this step with the intention of wanting to join the Kadima . In the 2006 general election , Nudelman won a seat for Kadima in the 17th Knesset.

Nudelman was married and had two children.
