Michael Ogertschnig (also Ogertschnigg , * 1846 in Ratzendorf near Maria Saal ; † ...) was an Austrian portrait painter .

Life

Born as the son of a "chaste" (smallholder, smallholder), Ogertschnig had endured all the hardships of a talent who was almost self-taught in secret , and finally after several years of apprenticeship in the Austrian capitals and a stay in Feldkirchen through several exhibited in the Klagenfurt State Exhibition in 1885 To be able to draw the attention of other circles to portraits of notabilities in Klagenfurt.
