Michael Reissig
Michael Reissig (born September 19, 1958 in Halle (Saale) ) is a German mathematician . Since 2001 he has been a professor in the field of partial differential equations at the Technical University of Bergakademie Freiberg .
Career
Reissig studied mathematics from 1979 to 1984 at the Martin Luther University in Halle-Wittenberg . From 1986 to 1989 he was a temporary assistant at the university. During this time he completed his PhD A in 1987 . From 1989 he was a temporary assistant at the Technical University Bergakademie Freiberg. In 1991, he put his doctorate B from. From 1994 Reissig worked as a private lecturer at the university. Since 2001 he has been an adjunct professor for partial differential equations at the Technical University Bergakademie Freiberg.

Reissig has been President of the ISAAC Society since 2017.
