Michael Seisenberger

Michael Seisenberger (born November 17, 1832 Eberspoint near Vilsbiburg, † August 2, 1911 in Freising ) was a German Roman Catholic theologian , priest , exegete and university teacher. He taught as a professor at the Royal Lyceum Freising (the later Philosophical-Theological University of Freising ).

After studying philosophy and theology, Seisenberger was ordained a priest in 1857 . In 1861 and 1962 he worked as a lecturer in theology in the clerical seminary in Freising, then as a subregens at the seminary . From 1869 to 1900 he taught as Professor of Exegesis of the Old and New Testament and Biblical Introductory Studies at the PTH Freising, from 1900 to 1907 as Professor of Exegesis of the New Testament;
