Michael Spence (athlete)

Michael Spence (born May 20, 1978 ) is a former American obstacle and cross-country runner .

In 2007 he won bronze at the NACAC Cross Country Championships and came 56th at the Cross Country World Championships in Mombasa . In the summer he became NACAC champion over 3000 m obstacle course and won silver at the Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro .

In 2010 he became NACAC runner-up in cross-country skiing.

He set his personal best over the 3000 m obstacle of 8: 31.65 min on June 24, 2007 in Indianapolis .
