The MICHAEL TELECOM AG is a German distributor and service provider for information and communication technology based in Bohmte near Osnabrück. Another branch is located in Nordhorn . The company has around 10,000 customers.
history
The company was founded in 1984. In the following year the first specialist trade catalog with 20 pages was published. In 1992 the new location with the administration building and the warehouse expansion was completed. From 1993 an additional warehouse was completed on average every two years to meet the demand. In 1998 and 2003 the administration building was expanded. In 2000 the company's own seminar hotel was opened in Bad Essen and in 2006 the sales office in Nordhorn was opened. The training center in Hunteburg was opened in 2015 and is also the first smart home training center in Germany. At the beginning of 2019, construction of a new warehouse began.
Product portfolio and services
The product portfolio includes mobile and landline telephony , professional telecommunications systems , security solutions, navigation, multimedia and IT equipment. In addition, activation, cloud and VoIP solutions are offered via an in-house service center . Michael Telecom AG also offers a wide range of training courses in these areas. Furthermore, there is a separate business unit only for the topic of digital signage , shop equipment and kiosk systems .
In-house exhibition
Every year in September or October, the company organizes an autumn trade fair , at which information and communication technology manufacturers present innovations and products. The fair is visited by around 2000 people per year.
Others
MABO GmbH, a wholesaler for kitchen and bathroom accessories with its own administration building and storage center, is also located on the Michael Telecom AG site in Bohmte. The managing partner is Siegfried Michael, who is also the CEO of Michael Telecom AG.
