Michael Timme

Michael Timme (* 1971 in Vechta ) is a German lawyer and university professor at the Aachen University of Applied Sciences and a judge at the Aachen Regional Court.

Life

Michael Timme was born in Vechta (Lower Saxony) in 1971. He studied law at the University of Osnabrück and was awarded a doctorate with his dissertation “The legal management of an economic network asset - epidemic prevention in legal history and present”. iur. PhD. He was awarded the University of Osnabrück's sponsorship award for his student achievements. Timme was scientifically active at the Universities of Osnabrück and Kiel as well as at the Max Planck Institute for Research on Collective Goods in Bonn. After the legal traineeship, he worked as a lawyer in Dinklage for several years . Timme has been Professor of Civil Law, Commercial and Business Law in Aachen since 2004, a judge at the Aachen Regional Court and a member of the Judicial Examination Office at the Cologne Higher Regional Court .
