Michael Trumpke

Michael Trumpke (born November 27, 1958 ) is a former German basketball referee .

Life

Trumpke, who comes from Leverkusen , was the referee of Bundesliga basketball games and was also used by the FIBA world association. At the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona , he headed the preliminary round match between China and Puerto Rico, and he also whistled European Cup games, around the beginning of the 1990s in the European League, the EuroLeague forerunner. Trumpke was also used as a referee at other international tournaments.

As a basketball official, Trumpke was chairman of the Rheinisch-Bergischer Basketballkreis and worked as a referee trainer.
